Image poster assignement

Presentation requirements for Image poster assignment:

1. Make a large print out. (using tiling!)

2. Collect all of the materials you made in the process: conceptual sketches (for all of the ideas you presented initially), mood boards, detailed sketches, final print.

3. Paste you big print on the black board, or just bring to class (next time if you still don't have the board, we can use mine for the time being).

Indesign tutorial on tiling

5 easy steps to tile (manually) in InDesign

1. Divide the page into equal sections using guides.

2. Bring the start of the ruler (by dragging the corner of your ruler guide) to the left right corner of the first rectangle tile. Your corner should have x=0; y=0 coordinates.

3. Save your document and use “command Print” to start setting up for print.

4. In the Print menu choose “Setup” on the left, and “Tile, manual” at the bottom right.

5. Send to print.

Repeat the same process for all of the tile rectangles (in our case — 6 tiles) by dragging your corner ruler to the top left corner of the rectangle.

Bring your selected paragraphs information to the class critique / overview.

Welcome

Hi everyone,

I started this blog to avoid any confusion. All the assignments and our classroom work would be recorded here, and wait for you to check it online.

We all trying to go "paperless" as much as possible, so this is our opportunity.

Welcome to the blog! The following postings would explain our next homework for those who haven't been in the class, but also would deliver some helpful links and information.

Thanks you.
